To start off, the site is genuine, and the seller is on the up and up. That said, there were a few hiccups. I placed an order for an R1 Shredlight and a SL1000 Pack Shredlight. A little over a week later, my package arrived. So, why the less-than-stellar rating? Well, the SL1000 Pack was supposed to include an SL1000 light and the mounts for my skateboard. Instead, I received an SL300 along with the mounts. Naturally, I was pretty let down by this shipping mix-up! I mean, how can you call it an 'SL1000 pack' when it doesn’t even have an SL1000 in it? It could be brushed off as a simple packing error, but the receipt inside suggested that the seller thought the contents were right (indicating that they believed the SL1000 pack contained an SL300 light and mounts). This was in spite of the product description and the photo on the website clearly stating it should include an SL1000. Plus, considering that an SL300 goes for 49.95 euros (on their site), mounts are 7.95 euros, and the SL1000 is priced at 89.95 euros, shelling out 93.95 euros for about 58 euros worth of stuff just doesn’t add up. Thankfully, I used PayPal, and their resolution center helped me sort things out (I got reimbursed for the difference between the SL300 and the SL1000), but it still wasn’t the best experience.

UPS messed up the delivery and misplaced my package. They mentioned that only the sender could start an investigation, which would take a few days. Sickboards promptly shipped out replacements while they sorted things out with UPS, cutting down my wait time. I'm really pleased with how Sickboards took care of my situation.

Received my items quickly, and they even threw in an extra set of griptape. I'm definitely gonna order from them again.

Sickboards is a large store where you can find nearly everything you require. The customer service is excellent, and the shipping is quick, which leaves you feeling satisfied. I hope they keep it up!

Great site with a wide range of items, though I reckon the prices could use a little improvement. Overall, I'm pleased with what I bought.

I've had no problems with them in the past, but I recently spotted a product (lucid glow grip) listed at €48.95, which is around $55. Over on the lucid website, it goes for just $28. The shipping fee is $27, so that's where the extra charges come from, which is just crazy, honestly.

I was informed by lucid that a double application isn't necessary, yet the description from sickboards states: "Do not use solely as your grip, apply to surface that has been gripped with lucid standard, medium or heavy grip."

Edit: This "recommendation" has now been updated.

I can't help but wonder what they actually pay for shipping because if I were to sell lucid grip, there's no way I'd fork out $27 for shipping. If they could meet me halfway, I might think about making a purchase, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars.

Props to the sickboards team for their quick replies; it's a shame they have to handle these kinds of issues when the main manufacturer is really the one at fault.
